Brenna Lofgren, LMT
I’ve always had a deep curiosity and appreciation for how the body moves, functions, and heals. As a competitive gymnast growing up and a collegiate field hockey player, I’m no stranger to injury. I’ve spent countless hours working with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and bodyworkers to regain strength, mobility, and confidence in my body. These experiences sparked a lasting interest in both physical and mental recovery and ultimately led me to a career in massage therapy, a path I couldn’t be more grateful for.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Deep Tissue and Injury Rehabilitation. I graduated from the Boulder Massage Therapy Institute in January 2022, where I completed 625 hours of massage therapy training and 91 hours of clinical work. Since graduating, I’ve had the opportunity to work with professional athletes, individuals recovering from injury, and clients seeking massage as part of their ongoing wellness practice. I recently completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, further expanding my understanding of movement, breath, and the mind-body connection. I also hold an undergraduate degree in Health Science & Nutrition from Ithaca College and have experience working in both medical and nonprofit settings.
My approach to massage is rooted in the belief that the mind and body are deeply connected. I take the time to understand each person as a whole and tailor every session to their individual needs, whether that means working through an injury, supporting athletic performance and recovery, or simply creating space to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
My hope for Balans is to provide an inviting, grounded space where you can prioritize yourself and feel supported in your own wellness journey. This time is yours, and I’m here to meet you wherever you are and help you move toward whatever feeling, goal, or intention you’re working toward.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me trail running, cooking with friends, gallivanting in the snow, and exploring the mountains with my pup.
